During winter people deal with lower mood, less energy and eat more it’s a natural response to when it’s cold outside and want to stay inside but humans can’t hibernate like bears it’s unhealthy, and aren’t adapted for it. We need sunshine and natural light.

Here are five ways to find winter peace:

Learn to control your breathing and it’s a well-known technique to find peace.

Hug a tree. Don’t mock the tree huggers. it’s scientifically proven is good for both physical and mental health.

Focus on your senses. Focusing and holding on to an ice cube in your hand for a minute and feel it melt can calm you down.

Make a cup of tea and focus on the sounds it makes.

Listen to your surroundings.
